This Privacy Policy describes how K18 File Compressor, an application provided by K18 Entertainment, handles information.
Information processed locally
K18 File Compressor analyzes local file paths, names, sizes, modification times, compression status, estimated savings, actual disk usage, and application activity. This information is stored locally in the current Windows user’s application-data folder. K18 Entertainment does not receive this local library information or activity history.
Google user data accessed
When a user chooses to download a restricted application update, K18 File Compressor requests read-only Google Drive authorization. Although Google’s permission description refers broadly to Drive files, K18 File Compressor uses the authorization only to retrieve the single K18 installer file identified by the signed K18 update manifest.
The application does not enumerate, search, inspect, upload, edit, organize, share, or delete the user’s personal Google Drive files. It does not request the user’s Google profile, contacts, email messages, or advertising information.
How Google user data is used
Google authorization is used solely to confirm that the signed-in account has permission to access the restricted K18 update file and to download that installer at the user’s request. The installer is checked against the published size and SHA-256 digest and a K18 Ed25519 signature before installation is offered.
Storage and retention
Google access tokens are short-lived. If Google supplies a refresh token, K18 File Compressor encrypts it with Windows Data Protection API (DPAPI) for the current Windows account and stores it locally. K18 Entertainment does not receive or store that token on a K18 server. Verified installer files may remain in the local K18 updates folder until the user removes them.
Sharing, advertising, and sale
K18 Entertainment does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, share it with data brokers, or transfer it to third parties. Google user data is not used to train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
Security
K18 File Compressor uses the system browser and OAuth with PKCE for Google authorization. Refresh tokens are protected locally with DPAPI. Update installers must pass size, cryptographic hash, and K18 signature checks.
User control and deletion
Users can revoke K18 File Compressor’s Google access through the third-party connections page in their Google Account. Users can remove the locally encrypted authorization token and downloaded update files by deleting the K18 File Compressor data stored under their Windows local application-data folder. Revocation prevents further downloads until the user authorizes the application again.
Google API Services User Data Policy
K18 File Compressor’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

This policy may be updated when application behavior or legal requirements change. The current effective date will be shown at the top of this page.
