These Terms of Service govern use of K18 File Compressor, provided by K18 Entertainment.
Application purpose
K18 File Compressor uses Windows filesystem compression to reduce eligible on-disk storage usage. It does not guarantee a particular compression ratio, storage saving, or performance result. Estimates are approximate and may differ from actual savings.
User responsibilities
Users are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups, closing games and applications before processing their files, reviewing compatibility warnings, and ensuring adequate free storage space. Users should restore files if they experience compatibility or performance problems.
Protected and unsupported files
Some files may be inaccessible, protected by a game platform, in use, linked, stored on an unsupported filesystem, or associated with anti-cheat or DirectStorage components. K18 File Compressor may skip or block those files to avoid unsafe changes.
Updates and access
Application updates may be offered through a restricted download. Access may be changed or withdrawn by K18 Entertainment. Users must authorize and confirm downloads and installation.
No warranty
The application is provided as available without warranties of uninterrupted operation, universal compatibility, or guaranteed storage savings, to the extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, K18 Entertainment is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the application. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
